Steph Thirion has announced a sequel to his highly acclaimed iPhone original game Eliss. The new game is called EDGELISS, and he makes some bold claims:

Coming soon: EDGELISS – the sequel to Eliss – will revolutionize iPhone gaming with new groundbreaking concepts that will blow everybody's mind: EDGE-D (boosts infinite dimensions way beyond 4D), EDGE-Touch (touch with way more than just your fingers), and EDGE-Black (where sounds and visuals become way much cooler).
With a name like EDGELISS, we're not sure if Thirion is teasing/tempting Tim Langdell who recently went after Mobigame's EDGE for trademark infringement.
We loved Thirion's first take at an iPhone game with Eliss which adopted a perfect use for the iPhone's multi-touch capabilities. Here's a gameplay video for Eliss which we consider a must-try iPhone game:
